The Maronite Eparchy of the Annunciation has 12 parishes in 8 countries of Central and West Africa, namely: Nigeria 4, Benin 1, Togo 1, Ghana 2, Burkina Faso 1, Côte d’Ivoire 1, Senegal 1, and Liberia 1. It has 8 missions, 4 in Nigeria (Calabar, Kano, Kaduna, and Jos), and 3 in other countries: Niger, Mali, Sierra Leone, and Burkina Faso that could become parishes in the future should all parish components become present. In addition to that numerous communities in West and Central Africa have expressed their desire to study the possibility of establishing new missions: Gabon, Cameroun, Congo (DRC), Guinee Conakry…
Our Lady of Annunciation. Ibadan, Nigeria
It is the eparchial see as assigned by the Holy See. The parish counts about 450-500 members of Eastern Christians of different denominations with around 80% Maronites.

Our Lady of the Rosary. Lagos, Nigeria
Lebanese people in Lagos count around 14000 out of whom some 5000-6000 are Christians. Maronites make up about 75% of the parish. The church is located in the Lekki beach area, around 20 minutes from Victoria Island where most of our people live.

Lebanese in the city count about 3000, between 600 and 800 of them are Christians of multiple denominations with a prevailing 75% Maronite majority. The parish is after the name of Saint Charbel. We have no church building yet, presently, a new church building with its complex is under construction.

Saint Naamtallah. Port Harcourt, Nigeria
The Maronite community exists there since the early 1900s. The number of parishioners came down from 900 to less than 350 due to insecurity state in the area on one hand and the economic crisis on the other. It is dedicated to Saint Naamtallah Hardini.

Notre Dame du Liban. Lomé, Togo
The Parish of Our Lady of Lebanon includes only some 300-350 faithful out of a Lebanese population of around 1200.

Saint Maroun. Accra-Ghana
The Lebanese population in Accra amounts to about 80000 almost 40% of them are Christians. Saint Maroun parish is one of the oldest in West Africa as it was established in 1963 and the complex comprises a school building, Saint Charbel International School.

Saint Sharbel, Kumasi-Ghana
Only around 300 Lebanese are left in the city because of the repetitive economic problems it went through, about 120 of them are Christians.
Parish Priest: Fr. Charbel Aziz who comes from Accra every Sunday to say mass at 18h30 pm and spends Monday in the parish before returning to Accra on Tuesday.
Notre Dame du Liban. Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso
Out of about 1100 Lebanese who are in Ouagadougou, 700-800 are Christians. In December 2016, a new church complex was inaugurated on a 5000m2 property a school building which opened in September 2016. NAME OF THE SCHOOL

Sacré Coeur. Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire
The number of Lebanese in Ivory Coast could go up to 80000. 3000-4000 of them are Christians, and Maronites make up about 75% of the latter. They all belong to the parish of the Sacred Heart (Sacré Coeur) founded in the year 1954 by the Lebanese Maronite Order. The church complex comprises a school building Ecole Primaire Catholique de la Mission Libanaise.

Our Lady of Graces Parish, Monrovia – Liberia
The Lebanese community of Monrovia counts about 1500, 30% of them are Christian.
The existence of the school of Our Lady of Graces encouraged them to gather around Father Maroun who founded the school, and incited us to create a new parish.
